Sidus Volucridae are not a warring people by any means. They’re actually very peaceful, and do not like to revert to violence. The species as a whole is geared more towards the scholarly end of the spectrum, and a lot of individuals devote their entire lives to learning.

There are few volucridae who take up arms to fight and protect, but the ones who do are a force to be reckoned with. Warrior volucridae are strong and fast and don intricate armour and crest decorations as a sign of their chosen path in life.

Volucridae clothing is sparse, consisting mainly of a simple dress. They much prefer to decorate themselves, as they have a rather strong affinity towards jewelry, and oftentimes status and profession is shown by different styles of crest ornamentation.

Sidus Volucridae are one of the few species who make it their goal to seek out young races just beginning their eras of space travel and make first contact.
