So Dross Mekanos seems like a relatively new addition to your lineup, and after reading his profile on your Charahub I must say that I really like his concept! It's a cool idea, with this flesh-turned-machine creature who seeks to wipe out the organic kinds. He's a madman, a madMACHINE, and that's just plain awesome. I love how you paired (pitted?) him with Austin, the mayhem gremlin... who's the EXACT OPPOSITE, in all regards. Haha! Mekanos is definitely a character I look forward to seeing more often.
Your picture is astounding, as always, and I cannot find any critiques or suggestions on improving it (sorry!). It's just a damn GORGEOUS picture, with a vibrant use of color and lighting, deep shadows accentuated by the painted look, and details in every corner. My favorite part is definitely the design, though, which shows clearly in this portrait. The wires, the gear-like joint, and jutting metal, it all comes together handsomely. Brilliant work, Inseng, you always blow me away!
...AND THAT SAID, I MISSED YOOOOU. I love that you're active on Tumblr, both with sketches and reblogging fascinating things, but AUGH I MISSED /YOU/ so much. I hope my hiatus is completely over soon.
